PANACEA
Photography helps me to be in the moment. My camera is a catalyst for creativity. When I’m not feeling myself, or something’s bothering me, I find that going for a walk and simply observing, takes my mind off of my troubles. My camera acts as an incentive to leave my apartment and explore.
My Panacea project was shown at the Four-O-Six boutique in Helena, Montana from December 2019 - December 2020. It is an ongoing path of exploration, and goes hand-in-hand with my street musings. The images I selected for the show are all taken within 2 blocks of Last Chance Gulch in Helena. During the years of 2014 - 2020, I spent most of my time walking this area and observing. All images were shot on film with varying cameras and film stocks with the exception of the last two images, which were shot with my Fuji X100S.
